I love this band. [Oct/21/07 @ 1:59pm] Last night I saw Band of Horses at the Bowery Ballroom with The Brunettes and Foals. It was one of the most amazing shows I have ever been to. The show was part of the CMJ music festival so there were only at the very most 300 people there. They played so well and it was so intimate that I got to meet with Ben Birdwell for a little while. It was perfect. But really this week has been great for shows. Last weekend PJ and Robert came through with Circa Survive and gave me a couple tickets. DATH was great as always and Circa actually had a really good set. It was nice seeing them. the Islands played a free show in Brooklyn yesterday that this girl I know was going to but I ended up helping Peter film one of his projects instead. Tonight, Peter's friends are in a band opening for The Mars Volta and they said they'd put us on the guest list if we wanted so I might check that out later tonight. After all of this it sounds like I go to a ton of shows, but really it's just been this week. Maybe I'm supposed to cram in all of my live musical performances into a small time frame, i don't know but it's been fun.
